How to Cut Kitchen Cabinet Crown Molding

Tools You'll Need

Measure and Mark the Crown Molding

First, you need to measure the length of the area where you want to install the crown molding. Then, mark the measurement on the back of the crown molding.

Next, you'll need to determine the angles at which you need to cut the molding. To do this, use a miter saw to make a 45-degree angle cut on one end of the molding. Then, measure the distance from the end of the cut to the wall. This measurement will be the length of the second cut.

Make the 45-Degree Angle Cut

Once you have measured and marked the angles, you can make the 45-degree angle cut. To do this, set the miter saw to a 45-degree angle. Then, place the molding on the saw and carefully make the cut.
